The USA's men basketball team beat France today, 98-71, behind Kevin Durant's 22 points.
The USA's next game will be Tuesday against Tunisia.

Canada won their first medal today, a bronze in 3M women's synchronized diving. Emile Heymans, one of the competitors has now got a medal in 4 straight Olympics.

Michael Phelps won his record 19th Olympic medal today.
The US Men's basketball team beat Tunisia 110-63. Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love both had 16 points, and Anthony Davis had 12 points (10 of which came on dunks.)

USA men's basketball team won again today, crushing Nigeria, 156-76, behind 29 combined 3-pointers. 10 of the 3's came from Carmelo Anthony, who had a team-high 37 points. Russel Westbrook added 21 points.
American Gabby Douglas won gold for the US in individual all-around competition in gymnastics. She is the first African-American to win it for the USA.

Canada has two silvers now, both from rowing, and both from rowing eights. One from the men's side and one from the woman's side.
