The first race of the season, The Daytona 500, is this Sunday. The Daytona 500 is the biggest race of the year, and everyone wants to have a shot to win it.
The late Dale Earnhardt Sr. will be remembered during the third lap, as it has been 10 years since the tragic accident. All fans at the race will be silent, and hold up the number 3 during the third lap during the race.
Is anyone going to watch the race?

Wow! Their were so many wrecks! 16 wrecks, including that one multicar wreck in the beginning that took out probably like 6-7 drivers.

Is the Daytona 500 race the most dangerous? Because of all the wrecks.

I saw this race man, it was awesome. Could not believe the rookie won it. As for this being the most dangerous race: I would say most likely. This is the race people always want to win, so sometime they go to great lengths to do it.

The safety measures implemented now have made injury something out of the past though
